About Donkey & Mule, the two corporate publishers: NO, THEY DO NOT WORK IN A HOLTZBRINCK COMPANY. And that’s the truth. They’re elsewhere, maybe in several different houses. Doodles & Dailies reserves the right to make strips of any reliable rumor from friends in the publishing business!

Donkey and Mule, huh? Hahaha…gently put.
Question, are these two characters based on two real people making the same ridiculous comments, or are they just representing general comments made by various publishers?

If you must know, they’re composite characters. So many pearls of wisdom could hardly issue out of one mouth!
