AstronautAcademyReentry_OnlineSerial

We’ve got a new online serial starting today — Dave Roman’s Astronaut Academy: Re-entry!

This online serial begins the second volume of Dave’s Astronaut Academy series that began in Astronaut Academy: Zero Gravity.  If you missed out on that one, you can catch up with this quick summary and head right on into the thrilling adventures of the second volume (which includes bears, and also robots!)

Quick summary: kids go to school in outer space; it’s even more crazy than it sounds.

This is still my favorite quote about the first volume (from The Virginian-Pilot):

“This graphic novel reads like a cross between a soap opera and an advertising campaign translated from some other language into English. It’s trippy, weird and sort of brilliant — a perfect antidote to too many hours spent eating Cheetos and watching Jersey Shore.”

I think it perfectly captures the insane zany-ness of these books!

First Second will be publishing Astronaut Academy: Re-entry as a graphic novel in May 2013.  Check it out online before it’s out in stores!
