Next spring, we’ll be putting out some books!  Seven books, to be exact.  And here they are!

Andre the Giant, by Box Brown.  This is the only serious biography of Andre the Giant out there in any format, so if you want to know more about him, there is your chance.  Also: Beckett cameo!

How the World Was, by Emmanuel Guibert.  You may remember our graphic novel Alan’s War, which we published in 2008.  This is the prequel — a story of growing up in California during the depression.

The Return of Zita the Spacegirl, by Ben Hatke — the last (and best!) book in the Zita the Spacegirl trilogy.  After this, Ben’s off to new things!

Shackleton, by Nick Bertozzi.  Arctic explorers ahoy!  This is a crazy adventure story about Ernest Shackleton and his expedition to Antarctica.  You may remember our previous explorers book with Nick — Lewis & Clark.  This one is like that, but colder!

The Shadow Hero, by Gene Luen Yang and Sonny Liew.  Gene and Sonny bring to life the story of the first Asian-American superhero.  This book is a whole lot of fun.

Sleep Tight, Anna Banana, by Dominique Roques and Alexis Dormal.  This is an adorable comics picture book about bedtime that we’re translating from French.

This One Summer, by Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki.  We all are huge fans of the Tamaki cousins’ Skim over here at the First Second offices, so we’re delighted to be publishing their next graphic novel for teens, about summer and growing up.

We can’t wait for spring!

(But oh, wait, we’ve got an awesome winter first.)
