We just got in early advanced finished copies of George O’Connor’s new Olympians graphic novel. This one is about Aphrodite! And it is purple.
Here’s the book cover. You cannot exactly tell from this photo, but the apple in Aphrodite’s hand is gold foil. (It is one of the golden apples that caused the fall of Troy!)
And here’s the side view of the cover. (You can probably now tell that the apple is foil because from this angle, it’s an entirely different color!)
And the back cover — purple, as promised. And you can see the whole line-up of the Olympians on the top!
Here’s the inside front cover — with an ever-expanding family tree!
Aphrodite makes her first appearance to the gods of Olympus — who may not be pleased about her existence.
And here’s Aphrodite and Hephaistos. Their marriage unfortunately doesn’t seem to be playing out very happily. . . .
And here’s the inside back cover — with all the gods exploding from the author’s head in a pseudo-Zeusian way!
If you’ve been playing along at home, you may have lined up all your spines for the Olympians books and noticed that they all match! On book six, you’ve finally completed half of the design — the head of Medusa. So cool, right?
And here are all the books together! It’s a great collection.
Aphrodite comes out in the winter, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
