There’s an exhibit at the NYPL for Mark Siegel’s graphic novel Sailor Twain; we went for the opening reception last week, which was lovely.  Here are pictures!

The exhibit was held at the Map Division — with art from the book interspersed with maps of the Hudson River!  It was very neat.

Here’s a picture of part of the actual exhibit.

And another case filled with maps.

And: reception, right outside the map room!  If you didn’t know already: the main branch of the NYPL is pretty gorgeous.

People attended with hats!

A good time was had all around!
