VII Photo Agency is an international photographic cooperative, named the third most important entity in photography in 2005. For the past few weeks, their New York gallery has been hosting the photographs of The Photographer photographer Didier Lefevre.
Last night, there was a panel at the gallery with MSF USA Director Sophie Delaunay, :01 Editorial Director Mark Siegel, Juliette Fournot, who served as head of mission in Afghanistan from 83 – 89 (and is the head of mission in The Photographer), Emmanuel Guibert, creator of The Photographer, and Ron Haviv, internationally renouned photographer and one of the founding members of the VII Photo Agency.
The exhibit will be up until May 19th: it's definitely worth going out to DUMBO to see it!
