Writers this talented are rare as hell.

JT Petty, besides writing and directing the terrifying movie SOFT FOR DIGGING, is also the author of the chapter book CLEMENCY POGUE: FAIRY KILLER. I worked a bit on this project while I was still at Simon & Schuster BFYR, and was instantly hooked by this first title in a series. This is first class storytelling and characters for the ages. And illustration by the excellent Will Davis.

And guess what? Both Will Davis and JT Petty are working on some projects for :01!

Davis is hard at work on DAWNLAND, adapted from Jo Bruchac’s novel.

And JT Petty has penned an incredible script, THE THIRD HORSEMAN, now in production with artwork by none other than *Brian Ralph.* That’s right! The one who gave the world CAVE-IN and CLIMBING OUT… More to come on that!
